This policy applies to service users and guests who complete questionnaires on public invitation pages.
1. What data we collect
When using OhWedding, the following categories of data may be processed:
Account data:
- email address
- user name
User-created data:
- wedding projects and event plans
- tasks and to-do lists
- guest lists
- budget entries
- other data added by the user for wedding planning
Invitation guest data:
- full name
- phone number
- attendance response
- accompanying guest's name, if provided
- drink preferences
- a comment, if the guest chooses to provide one
Technical information:
- data required for app operation
- connection and service usage information
- IP address and browser information when a guest questionnaire is submitted
- technical logs related to service security and stability
We collect only the data necessary for the service to function.
2. How data is used
Collected data is used for the following purposes:
- providing app functionality
- receiving, storing, and providing RSVP responses to the wedding organisers who created the invitation
- managing guest numbers and preferences for the event
- storing and synchronizing user data across devices
- ensuring service security
- fixing errors and improving app performance
- providing technical support
3. Analytics
The mobile app uses Google Analytics for Firebase. We use it to collect technical data about app usage to improve how the app works.

4. Sharing data with third parties
We do not sell users' personal data.
Data may be shared only in the following cases:
- with the wedding organisers who created the relevant invitation
- with infrastructure service providers (for example hosting, databases, or cloud services) that support app operation
- when required by law or an official government request
Such providers receive only the data required to perform their technical functions.
5. Data storage and security
User data is stored on server infrastructure used by OhWedding.
Guest responses are retained until the response or wedding project is deleted by an organiser, the guest requests deletion, or the data is no longer needed for the purposes described above.
The public QR seating page is available for 6 months after the wedding date.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data from:
- unauthorized access
- loss
- alteration or destruction
Despite these measures, no internet data transmission system can be fully secure.
6. Your rights and data deletion
A user can delete their account and related data in the app.
A guest may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their response by contacting OhWedding. The request should identify the phone number and invitation connected with the response.
7. Age restrictions
OhWedding is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age.
8. Changes to the privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time.
An updated version will be published in the service or on the official policy page.
The version published when a new processing operation takes place applies to that operation.
